I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. When I was eight, I started playing tennis and since then, I have achieved state and national rankings. I went on to play two years of NCAA tennis, where I reached a top 50 ranking, which earned me a spot in the NCAA DIII National Championships and Academic All-American.  After going through a heart-wrenching injury, I stopped playing college tennis. I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Print-Media Journalism from the University of Houston.

My dad and I started a company called Fun Productions and Video, where I helped with a variety of tasks including photography for three years. I like photographing everything, but my favorites are places and landscapes, especially the ocean. Traveling has also been an important part of my life. It's given me the chance to grow as a person as well as a photographer.
